THE NEW GENERATION OF HIV RAPID TESTS

GlysBy is proud to announce that a new, revolutionary HIV test is now available and got prequalification by WHO.
The test is a lateral flow, rapid test for the detection of anti-gp41 ( HIV-1) and anti-gp36 ( HIV-2) antibodies from fingertip drop of blood.
Only 5 microliters blood are required and  this makes the sampling and execution of the test very easy and safe for healthcare professionals such as midwifes, nurses and doctors.
The test is also quite simple to do at home, due to the captioned cassette, so a self testing version will be soon available.
The high sensitivity and specificity ( almost 100% for both ) grant a reliable result with accuracy of nearly 100% in just 10 minutes.
The test is offered in individual bags containing the needful for one test:

• 1 inverted cup
  

• 1 alcohol wipe
  

• 1 sterile pad
  

• 1 instruction for use
  

Tests on fingertip blood, only 5 µl sample.
